There are some many running shoes out there. Different types from different brands. Nike, Adidas, Puma are common brand of running shoes. Choosing the best running shoes can be a daunting task with so many options and models to choose from. Our feet and the type of shoes we wear can adversely affect other aspects of our health. First, it really should go without saying that if you plan on running, you must choose a running shoe. Not a tennis shoe or a walking shoe, only running shoes will offer the specific support and cushioning that one will need while running. So don’t be surprised if the size of your running shoes is a half size or even a full size larger than the rest of your shoes.

A running shoe has to be flexible and durable, control motion and absorb shock. Try on shoes in the afternoon, when your feet are slightly larger. If there is an arch cutaway, your foot is normal. Foot type affects which sort of running shoes will be better for you. If you have high arches, avoid stability or motion control shoes, as these will limit foot mobility. Avoid highly curved or cushioned shoes if your feet are flat, as they
will restrict stability.The average pair of running shoes should be able to run 1000 km so comfort is a must!
